The Googe Wave Protocol is a real-time collaboration tool that is like the Swiss Army knife of email/chat/file collaboration and a million other uses.
They should have called it the Google Shmoo!
I love this video!
I enjoy the way they boil down a lot of heavy lifting tech to something understandable.
Check out this screen shot to see it in the wild:
Here is the low-down:
Pros: Free, easy to set up, versatile and truly promising.
Cons: Takes FOREVER to get invited. I know they want to throttle the service, but too much of a shortage will kill interest.
The good news is there are other services out there that collaborate like Wave. Check out EtherPad.

Interesting tool, I will have to look at their TOS to see what they do with the data. Some clients are sensitive about whether or not the ideas are being “monitored”.
Thanks for the info in this post
Read, visited, signed up. Now lets see how long it takes to get invited.
TS: I agree with your thoughts on ‘monitoring’ ~runs to look for ToS.
ohhh nice info
I was reading on netbookspoint.com something similar, it would be nice to see more major players in the industry following Apple’s example, especially on mobile devices there is no need anymore for Flash.
